  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

TITLE:
Log files are not accumulating after 17.8.11 upgrade
PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE:
Plesk 17.8.11 running on CentOS 6.9
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
After updating from the previous release, I have noticed that the access_log.processed and access_ssl_log.processed log files are no longer accumulating the data from the previous day. Instead, the files are being replaced by the previous day's access_log or access_ssl_log files. I have noticed this behavior on both a dedicated server and on VMs.

This is quite undesirable as any previous day's logs are getting lost on a daily basis, making it impossible to locate evidence of unwanted activity on the website on a previous day.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Just check your log files.
ACTUAL RESULT:
Logs not accumulating
EXPECTED RESULT:
Logs accumulating
ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
It doesn't seem to matter whether AWstats or the Webilizer are in use.
