Issue Log rotation not working on some domains

gijsbert

Basic Pleskian
Some error logs does not get rotated and I have no idea what's wrong. I checked the settings webbased and it seems ok:

log rotation = on
log rotation = weekly
keep 4 files and enable compression

I check the configuration file (/usr/local/psa/etc/logrotate.d/domain.nl) and it seems to be ok as well:

/var/www/vhosts/system/domain.nl/logs/*.processed {
weekly
rotate 4
compress
missingok
copytruncate
}
/var/www/vhosts/system/domain.nl/logs/error_log {
weekly
rotate 4
compress
missingok
copytruncate
}

When I manually run the logrotation by doing:

/usr/sbin/logrotate -f /usr/local/psa/etc/logrotate.conf

No errors are reported. If I then check the logs directory of domain.nl I see:

-rw-r--r-- 2 root root 0 Jul 7 14:51 error_log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Oct 26 2014 error_log.1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2491 Oct 19 2014 error_log.1.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2491 Oct 19 2014 error_log.2.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2491 Oct 19 2014 error_log.3.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2491 Oct 19 2014 error_log.4.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2491 Oct 19 2014 error_log.5.gz

The error_log is empty (probably because I manually ran the logrotate script) but the error_log does not rotate :(

Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this error?
