PROBLEM DESCRIPTION AND STEPS TO REPRODUCE

Customer visits the CBM cart and purchases a subscription.
On the contact information screen, the client is asked to provide a login and password (8YgyTaJY ) to access the billing system

After a customer signs up for a subscription through the CBM cart an email containing the login and passwords and Plesk entry point is sent out.
This email does not send the same password the client entered in the contact information screen.
The customer is unable to login to PLESK or Plesk-Billing with these credentials.

The CBM administrator has to issue a password reset before the customer can access the panel.

Once the password reset has been issued, the new Panel Password does not reflect in Recent subscriptions under the Customer Summery page.

    ACTUAL RESULT

A new customer account has been created.
    Customer's contact name: ABC EFGH
    Customer's login: abcdefg
    Customer's password: 8RmFS339fSWM
    Panel entry point: https://urltopanel:8443

    EXPECTED RESULT

The Customer should be able to access the Control Panel and Plesk Billing, using the password they specified in the contact information screen

A new customer account has been created.
    Customer's contact name: ABC EFGH
    Customer's login: abcdefg
    Customer's password: 8YgyTaJY
    Panel entry point: https://urltopanel:8443

If the password is going to be auto generated by PSA, should the option in the contact information screen rather be removed.

    Hello,

    Forwarded your complain to developers.
CBM doesn't store the password provided in cart in plain text so you can only modify the e-mail template to remove confusing strings and say that customer needs to use the password specified in cart.

I am having the same exact problem Plesk is not sending out the right passwords, the customer signs up with a password, but that password does not work, I have to manually go into the account and change the password. Also the FTP information is wrong on the email?

    Any advice?

This is a still a major problem, for every new order I have to reset the passwords.
    Starting to become very frustrated.

    Removed CBM

Today I finally took the steps to remove CBM from my server.

I waited nearly 2 years to get a fully integrated ordering, billing & provisioning system for PSA.
SADLY this was just not working for me.

I hope that in the near future this feature will become more appealing.

    Farewell CBM.

As the previous poster noted the passwords for panel access are different.

    Version information:
    Plesk 10.3.1
    OS Centos 5.8

Once I figured it out and tried login into the panel (not billing) using the emailed credentials I'm getting a security warning.

    Here is a screen shot.
