  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

looking to implement djbdns

I am interested in implementing djbdns in favor of BIND. I am hoping that someone would like to share how they have done this while still maintaining the gui functionality for adding records.

I need the gui for the powers that be....I am sure ya'll understand.

I know this has been done so please shed some light somebody!!

Using Plesk you can not do this (replace bind with djbdns). You can use djbdns on a different server and disable DNS Management in Plesk.
