I was taking a look at my error logs and it is full of all sorts of stuff that means nothing to me (newbie). Can anyone take a look and offer suggestions to fix the issues that are present? Thanks

Lots to work with here....

where to start...

[Tue Oct 16 09:45:29 2007] [warn] RSA server certificate CommonName (CN) `plesk' does NOT match server name!?
[Tue Oct 16 09:45:29 2007] [warn] RSA server certificate CommonName (CN) `plesk' does NOT match server name!?
try this
http://www.pleskhosts.com/forum/showthread.php?p=20#post20

[Tue Oct 16 09:52:04 2007] [notice] child pid 21715 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
[Tue Oct 16 09:54:19 2007] [notice] child pid 26208 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
[Tue Oct 16 10:34:46 2007] [notice] child pid 21706 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

That could be almost anything, but try looking in the error logs first
Code:
cat /var/log/httpd/error_log | grep -i -A1 -B1 'seg'
[code]

This will output the log file line before current and after that matches the pattern.

So you could then do
[code]
cat ~/seg_fault_log
{/code]

and could see something like
[code][Tue Oct 16 10:09:28 2007] [notice] child pid 8632 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
Failed loading /usr/lib/php/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_.so: /usr/lib/php/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

and then fix the problem (which may only be coincidental) but could be caused by apache modules or php modules - remove any you dont need and make sure the ones you have installed are working.

The rest of it seems to be related to python, and unfortunatley I cant help there.

First off, thanks for the help.

For the CommonName... The thread you pointed out didn't seem to help as I don't see what he is talking about in my server.

As for the seg fault, here is the lines around the seg faults.

no I am not. I have a VPS server from my hosting company because I run more than one website and it was cost effective to have a VPS vs shared for each..

I have no experience in these servers and the plan I have is non supportive (meaning I have to use the forums for help on errors and configs).

I wish I could learn this stuff but I have no one to teach me.

Thanks for your help

no worries, I just had to make sure :)

There are plenty of people here on the forums who will help you, but most of us will not 'do it for you' so to speak. Here are a couple of pointers that should help you learn what the problem is and help in fixing.

Code:
[Tue Oct 16 13:57:28 2007] [warn] Init: SSL server IP/port conflict: default-204-11-244-234:443 (/etc/httpd/conf.d/zz010_psa_httpd.conf:77) vs. webmail:443 (/etc/httpd/conf.d/zz010_psa_httpd.conf:134)
"learn" here :)

Also, if you are running on a 64 bit server Ive heard that Plesk doesnt work well on those.
