Mail: automatically delete downloaded Emails on the server

Ho can I configure that in the mail accounts the mails are deleted after downloading with outlook?

I think it can be configured on email client side.

you can test it by sending a test email and testing webmail and email client at same time. If email client is downloading mail then you should not able to see the mails in webmail.
