• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Webmasters,

I have had to restore a server from a backup after a crash. All went fine and the server was up and running within the hour. But then the problems came. My customers could not connect with their mailaccounts. When i change the password it all works fine again. Did i forget to restore a file where the passwords off the mailaccounts are? And which file is that?

Thanks for the answer.

It was a Centos 5 and plesk 9.5.2. server.

Hi

Try running as root

/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/mail_auth_view

It will show you the passwords stored in the mysql database for each email account. Maybe you are trying to use old passwords.
