Our server is running Postfix, CentOS 5.5 and Plesk 9.5.2. There is a specific IP address that gets rejected by our mailserver, even though it is added to the Plesk's whitelist. I am sure that the neither the IP address nor the corresponding domain name exist in any blacklist.
I have even added the corresponding domain name in the Plesk's whitelist, but the mails keep getting rejected. Why does this happen? I am using dnsbl.sorbs.net and sbl.spamhaus.org.
The message that the sender gets is the following:
host mail.xxx.xxx [1.2.3.4] said: 554 5.7.1 Service unavailable; Client host [5.6.7.8] blocked using dnsbl.sorbs.net; Currently sending spam See http://www.sorbs.net/lookup.shtml?[5.6.7.8] (in reply to RCPT TO command)
where [1.2.3.4] is the IP Address of our mailserver and [5.6.7.8] is the IP that gets rejected.
