I got some reports today that people were not getting expected email.
I looked in ..\mailenable\queues\smtp\inbound and nearly crapped when I saw 23,000 messages going back to last Thursday. I restarted the MTA, it stopped again after about 10 minutes, nothing in any logs I could see to indicate why. I can't seem to keep the service running.
Here's what I've got:
Windows 2003 r2 server, fully patched
Quad-core cpu with 4gb of memory, 700mb or so in use.
Plesk for Windows 8.3.0
Kaspersky Antivirus 5.0.0.49
MailEnable Standard 1.981
MTA settings are set to 8 threads.
I've got 20+ ensim servers and this is my first Plesk box, 2 months old.
Any ideas on how to keep the service running?
