Issue Main.cf suddenly empty

Hi.
Today the main.cf of postfix was suddelny an empty file beeing edited at 11:30.
The mailserver was down shortly after that.
Any idea how this can happen?

same here on 17. Oct. 2022. The File /etc/postfix/main.cf was emptied at ~16:08

I observed it again when a let's encrypt certificate couldn't be renewed. Maybe that's where it is coming from. I had no time for further troubleshooting, yet.
