Hi, my client wants to connect make.com to one of his email accounts.

make is an application platform similar to IFTTT.

The task is to automatically transfer attachments from emails send to this account to another application.

During initial setup the make client receives a server timeout.

If we change the authentication credentials, make.com gets a login error in return, so we supsect that the authentication is fine but afterwards something on our side "happens" that prevents further communication.

Things that we could confirm sofar:
* Any normal email client can connect to the server with the given credentials.
* There are no error messages related to make.com ip addresses (Allowing connections to and from Make IP addresses).
* Failtoban doesn't list any make.com ip address
* Switching off the web application firewall doesn't change the result.

Any idea where to look for an answer?

Regards,
Patrick
