Make excel read function working on my Vserver

Hello,

i hope i am in the right place here, because i need urgent help.

on our platform users cann upload bulk product list, items, etc. using an excel file, since we have changed the server this module is not working.

it was working ordinary before i change the server and the panel was cpanel, and now here is my server data
Version Parallels Plesk Panel v11.0.9
OS Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS

the developer company said that is a server problem and not code problem it must only Make excel read function working on my Vserver, but i dont know how etc.
