managing DNS info

I am trying to edit DNS info on Godaddy to point to a site on my server, using info from the DNS option from the Plesk info). I am new to this type of interface and I am not sure what info I need to put in the DNS window on GoDaddy so it will point to my site. I used the info from the DNS page (ns.clientname.com), but GoDaddy said ot was not the right info.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you have not already registered your ip as a dns server you need to do so..when you are logged into godaddy click on your domain name and on the bottom you will see 'Domain Host Summary' click the plus then click 'Click here to see details or to modify. ' click that and add your hostname to yourdomain.com and also use ns2.yourdomain.com then change your dns servers to whatever u have there
