Hello,
I'm stuck with four domains at a dedicated server at godaddy.
I was restoring over one hundred domains from another Plesk Panel 8.3 when I came across what I consider to be a glitch in Plesk as it should have warned me and neither godaddy nor parallels want to give me support on the issue.
If you are restoring a domain that has a mssql database and the incoming database is smaller in size then sqlxpress mssql "model" database, Plesk Panel will not restore that specific domain for you, will show you an error, and then you're stuck, as it wont let you delete the domain to reestore it again without the db.
Everytime I try to delete the domain through Plesk Panel I get an error:
Unable to remove domains: Problems occured while removing domains: Unable to remove hosting: Unable to delete logrotate config: logrot_mng failed: Execute websrvmng --update-log-rotation "--vhost-name=bovisul.com.br" failed: Unable to lookup SID for name bovisul: (1332) No mapping between account names and security IDs was done.
The physical folder for the domains in question do not appear under vhosts. So seems like the records are at the Plesk database but do not phisycally exist.
From some searches around the web I was informed that I can open Plesk database and remove the entries manually, howeber I dont know how to proceed, as I gotta be very carefull for the fact that I have over 400 healthy domains running under the same panel.
Can anybody help me with instructions to safely delete those half restored domains?
Thanks
