Resolved MariaDb 10.1 and new user ?

Hi,
after upgrade to 10.1 I have seen that there is a new user. is it normal ?

No. The entry means that anyone from anywhere can connect to the database and use it. Check the detailed permissions, but in general, this is not correct. My suggestion is to make a backup of the table, then remove then entry and check that things are still all working.
 
An interesting link. However, at least here on CentOS this was never necessary. It was always a quite perfect installation from start.
