  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

maximum email accounts per domain

Hello,

I am trying to find out if there is a limit for the maximum number of email accounts per domain, so far without any luck.
I am working on a migration from CommuniGate to Plesk, I have 60,000 email accounts on one domain in CG, I had made the migration scripts and started them in multi-threading, but after reaching half of the way, even if the import scripts were running, I had no more email accounts added into psa database. The insert stopped at 31,994 value.
The migration scripts were and still are fine, they are doing their job.

Any help is really appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello voodookid

I checked with our second line engineers and they are not aware of any physical limitaion on the number of mail accounts that can be configured for a single domain. Please check your Parallels Plesk Panel license to see if it permits the use of a limited number of mail accounts, and if that is not true, please submit a support request with us, and we will investigate the issue further. The support form can be filled out here:
