Maximum number of backups in repository doesn't work anymore

After upgrade from Plesk 9.4.* to 10.1 the Maximum number of backups in repository doesn't work anymore. Plesk doesn't remove the oldest files on FTP.

Any suggestions?
 
Yes, as far as I remember this issue has been reported some time ago for 10.1 version. But latest version id 10.4.4 where this issue should be fixed already. Why you have not upgraded to latest version? Please consider this possibility and report this problem with related error messages from psadump.log if you meet it on 10.4.4 version.
 
We tried to update to the latest version but the updater doesn't give more then 10.1 The server runs Suze 11.1.

Maybe there is a workaround?
