• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

memailfilter.exe failures

Hi,

I'm running Plesk 7.5.6. I'm getting dozens of memailfilter.exe failures daily like this:

The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. (Error code 32) at Open file 'C:\SWsoft\Plesk\Mail Servers\Mail Enable\QUEUES\SMTP\Inbound\DE5E09659F85466095CF3ED403587E6C.MAI'
at (VFile::eek:pen line 87)
at execute C:\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\bin\memailfilter.exe DE5E09659F85466095CF3ED403587E6C.MAI SMTP(vconsoleapp::run line 138)
Execute file name: C:\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\bin\memailfilter.exe

I'm trying to figure out how to stop these because my POP mail seems to stop working on a daily basis as well with no other indication in the event logs as to why, so I'm guessing its related.

Worst case, if I disable memailfilter.exe, I give up spam and virus filtering, and autoresponders. That's ok, I don't really need that. Would I also lose redirect/forwarding?

Thanks,

Wayne
