• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Messages in mail queue

There are a few messages in the mail queue when viewed from the CP.

They have been there for a day or so. How long should they stay there and should they auto-delete?

Should after 5 days, if undelivered be deleted automatically.

After updating to V8 I found tons of mail in my queue that were more than 5 days old. I cleared the queue and now since updating there are none in the queue they are all making their journey out. :D

So I'd say anything older than 4 days - kill it. See what happens next.

Plesk just replied:

'By default they are stored 7 days.. You can specify other period in /var/qmail/control/queuelifetime file, there should be number of seconds. Then restart qmail.'

Thanks for the info, good to know.

After upgrading to v8 I had major email issues. But once resolved and cleared the queue, mine had remained empty to date. Been checking daily thus far and good to go still.
