New Pleskian
Hi,
I need to migrate my current Plesk installation (Obsidian Version 18.0.40) that is running on a VM on my own hardware to the cloud.
I'm not sure if I should clone the VM and upload it, so I have the exact copy of my installation, or if I should make a new Plesk installation.
The problem with cloning the VM is that the IP addresses will be different and I think Plesk won't be able to adjust all necessary settings.
Making a fresh installation I'll have a clean system and I can use Plesk Migrator Extension to migrate each client/subscription at a time --- but to migrate it this way I'll need to have 2 Plesk servers running simultaneously for a couple weeks (until all migration is done). Can I use the same license for this purpose or do I need to buy a new license?
I appreciante any advice you can give me.
Regards.
