Migrating sites from non-plesk server

Hey there,

Totally new to this plesk thing and I'm needing to move over my companies sites to our new server which has plesk installed on it. I'm looking for a suggested deployment strategy.

I have 5 domains on the original server that have code that crosses over into each of those domains - that is domain 1 may use resources from domain 2 and vice versa.

Since we're the only ones using this installation of plesk I'm wondering what the best practice for setting these domains up would be so that they can get at each others resources. They also all used the same mysql installation which has about 50 databases with hundreds if not thousands of tables.

I imagine the mysql migration will simply be a matter of tarring up the old mysql data and transferring it to the new server, but how do I let plesk know what needs monitored?

I've started reading the docs but got confused when there was a statement akin to 'if you want to set up domains for yourself you need to use the my domains function' but I can't find that functionality anywhere in the interface.

Any pointers?
