Resolved Migration from Plesk 10 to Onyx 17.5

Hello

The migration manager say:
Insufficient disk space on the source server to store temporary files for transfer. Available: 0 MB. Required: 202 MB.
Please free disk space on the source server.

But my source Server have 291GB Used and 170GB Avail. ( plesk 10 ) ( Size 485 GB )

i have also change the migration folder. But do not report away.

Can I ignore and start migration?

hm not work :-(

my plesk 10 System Say the following

which tail
/usr/bin/tail

rpm -qf /bin/tail
-bash: rpm: ommand not found.

rpm -ql coreutils | grep tail
-bash: rpm: ommand not found.

ln -s /usr/bin/tail /bin/tail
works

but i have the same error

apt-get install rpm also not work. i find no Valid source list links. Debian 6 too old.

Hi fabian koeppel,

"rpm" - commands are for CentOS/RHEL based systems and not for Ubuntu/Debian - based systems - that isn't very clear in the KB - article.


Could you pls. tell us, WHAT you would like to "update" or install with your command:

apt-get install update

There is no package with the name "update", which you could install.

That was just a try to install something. Not important. But unfortunately nothing has brought. Still have the error.

o.k. ... let's do some checks please: Login to you source server as user "root" over SSH and perform the following commands:

cd /

df -h

Could you pls. post the output of the "df" - command?

I just notice, that you stated as well:

Debian 6

... but the documentations states clear: => Software Requirements for Plesk

...
Plesk Onyx for Linux can run on the following operating systems:

Operating system SNI support IPv6 support
Debian 7 (64-bit)

Debian 8 (64-bit) ***

...

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but Debian 6 is not supported with Plesk Onyx.

yes i will migrate from a plesk 10 debian6 to a new ubuntu 16.04 onyx 17.5.3 whit migrationmanager. i will not Update. but wenn i start the migration manager on onyx server and source is my plesk 10 ubuntu 6 then i have the error.

from a source plesk 8.6 - Onyx works for the migration manager. i Have Plesk 10.4 for source

when i have add the source data and click start migration then i can

Select all customers and domains. When I start migration i becam this error message in the second picture. Can I ignore this and migrate it? Will not risk a total full Harddsik

mkdir -p /tmp/plesk_migrator_3
chmod 777 /tmp/plesk_migrator_3
