migration joomla to plesk on debian

Hi.
My server was hacked. so I need to restore it. Before i was running my joomla website on debian.
I did backup of my joomla DB via phpmyadmin before it was hacked and copied all joomla website directory directory.
Now I did reinstall my server with new Debian 4.0 os and install Plesk 8.xx on it. i created domain, new joomla DB and imported all tables to it via DBadmin (phpmyadmin) from my joomla DB backup. then i copy my whole joomla website folder into my domain's httpdocs folder. And after it I edited my configuration.php file with new info. Jomla came up but joomla DB wasn't restored correctly. I mean some templates under joomla administrator are not visible. I am allways getting permitions errors when i wont to upload something with joomla. I can get my website working correctly with Plesk. please advice and explain how permitions should be setup for joomla in plesk and how unix, plesk and joomla hes to be setup in order to work correctly?

i think you need to change the file permissions...

try -> http://docs.joomla.org/Main_Page ;-)

Finally i found a solution with my coworker. i just created the same user in my Plesk Db as my os user. when I changed the user of mysql DB joomla to some other everything works fine. And joomla can work with imported to plesk old database fine. there was two the same users of system and mysql joomla db. i guess it cause the some conflict. Am i right? please someone reply. But eny way it works properly now. I didn't get much replies to this topic but thank you anyway.
