• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Migration Login Error going from Cpanel 11 to Plesk 8.3

No matter what I do I am getting the following error:

Error log

Cannot send scout to the remote host

Unable to connect to host xxxxxxxxxx.com: you have specified incorrect username or password

(xxxxxxxxxx.com = my domain)

I can ssh into the source (cpanel) server with the same login info I enter into the form, and login just fine. I really wish there was a verbose mode with this tool so you could see where the error was actually occuring. I have disabled my firewall, and enabled a direct root login, rather than sudo, and it still won't work.

I am using the migration tool that comes out of the box on Plesk 8.3. Is there another one I should be using?
