Plesk Obsidian 18.0.74 Update #2 Web Pro Edition
Hi,

I am receiving an error when attempting to perform a migration from my source server (Plesk 18.0.74) to my target server.

The migration fails immediately with the following error:

Version of Plesk on the target server (18.0.73) is lower than version of Plesk on the source server 'source' (18.0.74). Migration to lower version of Plesk is not supported by migration tool.
Key details:

  1. Source Server Version: Plesk Obsidian 18.0.74.
  2. Target Server Version: Plesk Obsidian 18.0.74 (Confirmed via SSH command plesk version).
Steps already taken on the Target Server (18.0.74):

  • Manual update to ensure 18.0.74.
  • Executed /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstaller --check-updates --reinstall-patch.
  • Executed plesk repair all -y (completed successfully with 0 errors).
  • Deleted and recreated the migration task multiple times.
The Plesk Migrator tool continues to cache or read an incorrect version (18.0.73) from the target server's API/database, despite the server being fully updated and repaired.

Please advise on how to force the Migrator to correctly read the 18.0.74 version from the target server's internal database.

Thank you

Just to confirm, the target server is also Ubuntu 20.04 or is the target server a different version of ubuntu? (To make sure I'm setting up a test environment to match)

Also I just tried with Ubuntu 24.04 connecting to a Debian 12 system and I did not get any errors so knowing where we're going from in terms of the source to the information of the target will help.

For some reason, after I did Diagnose & Repair and restarted the server, everything is fine. Thanks for the help though.
