Migration Manager is very very slow

The problem is that Migration Manager is very very slow. Migration Manager v9.502.3777.25861 (build 100505.15).

We need to transfer accounts from Plesk 8.6 to this server with Plesk 9.5.

First stage ( when the progress bar shows 50% - the data transfer) performs quick enough - in 20-30 mins and then we have to wait for 24 hrs!!!! until at least one domain will be restored. this is very very slow.

Some observation -

1. when there were only a couple of domains on the server the transfer is done in acceptable time, but now when the server has about 900 domains the transfer takes ages to be done. BUT please note that the server is not overloaded, so it shouldn't be a problem.

2. I run Process Explorer and saw that migration process spawn some processes which do something with domains which already exist on the server: Here is an example:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin\websrvmng" --get-domains-performance "--domains=C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\PrivateTemp\tmp47314.tmp" "--output-file=C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\PrivateTemp\tmp37550.tmp"
and these .tmp files contain entries about all domans of the server. What is this ?? Why does plesk need to check all domains on the server in order to add just 1 domain by means of migration tool ?

Good question. We experiencing the same issues and our customers are not sutisfied with new Plesk ...

We have opened similar topic in Plesk 9.2 forum branch:

http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=97098

The answer was - please try host less than 200 domains per server...

Plesk in 9.x versions took the Linux backup manager scheme and this is the problem. To fix this problem Parallels has to create completely new backup solution for windows plesk panel.

Thanks

The more I use Plesk the more I have feeling that they(developers) have never used their control panel on real servers with, at least, 600-700 domains.

it takes ages for Plesk performance be as good as Cpanel on linux servers have. This is very upset.
