• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Migration Manager should change source DNS records

The reason why a site is migrating is because it is moving to a different server.

Can you not provide an option to automatically change/add A records and MX records to forward requests to the new server which are active as soon as migration is complete?

Otherwise it's a very long process to go through, domain by domain, adding these.

Of course we could wait for a day for the nameserver change to update, but during that time the mail is lost as it has gone to the wrong server. An instant update would mean no mail loss.

AFAIR, Migration Managers touches nothing on the old server (you can check this in the .pl files residing in the PMM directory). Dunno why, may be due to safety issues, or implementation troubles, or just policy.
