• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Migration manager very slow

Hello, I´m migrating since this morning all clients accounts, domains etc, from my old server with Plesk 8.6 to my new server with Plesk 9.2.2, but is very very slow, the migration manager starts at 12:47 PM and now 23:19 PM only show 50% migrated, when I have about 30 domains with 25-30 gb of hdd used (I don´t know exactly)

Is this normal? I checked /usr/local/psa/PMM/msessions/20090822124520296/migration.log but don´t appear nothing strange...

Hello,

It is normal. It will take approximately 5 hours only to copy the files via Internet if you have average connection speed 2 MBytes/s. But migration manager needs not only copy but also process this data. Especially mailboxes that can contain many small files. So it can take even more than 24 hours to fully migrate the server.

Also you can try manual migration using backup utilities - probably it will be faster for you.
You can find more information on manual migration in the following article:

http://download1.parallels.com/Plesk/PPP9/Doc/en-US/plesk-9.2-migration-guide/63282.htm

Migration manager finiesed in 15 hours, and all clients accounts and websites working perfect, but now I have other problem.

In the old server I had installed CSF (http://www.configserver.com/cp/csf.html) and I could enter Plesk wihtout problems.

Now, in the new server with csf active, I can´t login in Plesk, appear a Continue button, but if I presh the button don´t appear the login page of Plesk.

I have ports open correctly, I saw one PDF of Plesk Firewall...

Any help?
