• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Migration - Shared SSL error.

orenk

Basic Pleskian
Hi
I am trying to migrate from server 2008R2 to 2012R2 (Both are Plesk 12.5)
Most of the domains are imported fine.
MSSQL database are not transferred, and required to be transferred manually, thats not big deal for me.

But I have an account with few subdomains and shared SSL, When migrating, I get the following errors:
(I censored the domain names and sensitive data)

|- Client 'client'
| |
| `- Subscription 'dxxxxxt.com'
| |
| |- error: An error occurred, when restoring hosting settings:
| | Cannot restore shared ssl link of domain Kyyyyyt.dxxxxxt.com:httpdocs
| |
| |
| |- error: An error occurred, when restoring hosting settings:
| | Execution of "C:\.....\bin\shared_ssl.exe" -sl -domain Kyyyyyt.dxxxxxt.com -target-dir httpdocs -virtual-dir Kyyyyyt_dxxxxxt_com -require-ssl false -enabled true -ignore-nonexistent-options failed with return code 1.
| | Stderr is
| | Unable to create a shared SSL link: The master SSL domain is not set.

the KB says that I can ignore this error....
I did ignored, it didn't work.
I will the SSL manually
