• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi,

My server have several problem and we want to install Plesk on a new server and with the old disk, do a migration.

I know i can do migration from ftp or via another active Plesk but can we do it with a hard disk install in the server as a second disk?

We cannot start my old plesk. After 2min, apache freeze.

I have to do someting fast. Can you help me?

does the old disk has the same plesk version as the new one?
if yes, it possible to migrate all data, along with plesk configuration!

We just want to migrate website and website config. Not Plesk config cause we think is defect or infected with rootkit.

Oh.. Thanks for your reply and yes, same version of Plesk. Juste want to make a new install in a new server and migrate website but i cant start old server. Plesk dont want to start.

I do not beleive plesk config is infected with rootkits. Plesk config is all in a database called PSA.
I beleive you can restore all cnfig files, but you must secrure few things, apache, php ..etc... what is your plesk version?

can you send output of this command
cat /usr/local/pas/version
cat /Path-to-where -old-drive-is mounted/usr/local/pas/version

Also, did you ask your hosting company for help ?

Version: 10.3.0 CentOS 5 1012110629.18

The path for old drive is not define, we check for solution before.

My data center hosting cie try since 24h but i think he dont know Plesk. Only cPanel.

Sorry for my bad english...
