• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Missing a lot of functions after update to Obsidian

New Pleskian
System: Ubuntu 18.04
Plesk: 18.0.21

Hi and a Happy New Year!

I installed a new server with PLESK Onyx. I configured some websites and everything worked as expected. I created for example a website with a "Password Protected Directory".

Then new PLESK Obsidian was shipped and I updated ( without any errors ).

Now I'm missing a lot of functions like:
- Language change for PLESK
- Password Protected Directories
- FTP Access
- Web Users
- Website Copying
- ...

I have the big problem, that I have password protected a domain for development, now I can't remove the protection from within plesk.

I already tried "plesk repair web" but no changes.

Any Ideas?

Regards,
Sascha

perhaps you can review the assigned Service plan of the Websites and check the settings.

Web user > Ressources > show more
Password Protected Directories > Permissions > show more available permissions
Website Copying > Permissions > show more available permissions
...

Sorry for the late reply....

I do not have the points you mentioned! I do use the "Web Admin Edition" ( not the Reseller one! ).

With Onyx all the features were availlable - with Obsidian not!
Is it possible to rollback?
