  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Missing Counter Module in version 3

zooming

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

SiteBuilder version 3 does not have a Counter module.

This is a big problem for everyone planning to migrate from version 2.1.3

After importing version 2.1.3 data, you will see a "here was a 'counter' module" text instead of the module code.

The page text will be gone either. A page full of text and a Counter module will show a blank page and the "here was a 'counter' module" text after migration.

When Swsoft will release a Counter module for SiteBuilder 3 and fix this problem?

Thank you.

Alexandre

Actually, counter module is available in SiteBuilder v.3 as well as in v.2. You can find it in Statistics module. It just was included into it.
Please check statistics section for the site: On the Statistics Settings screen, you can enable or disable statistics. Besides, you can turn on and configure a counter on a site, so that the total number of site visitors would be displayed to everybody who enters your site.

Hello,

Thank you Dmitry.

About the migration problem, do you have any suggestions?
Pages were there was a counter module are imported without the surrounding text.
They show only a message saying that "there was a counter here" or something similar.

Thank you!

Alexandre
