Modify Plesk default handler mappings

David Lampron

New Pleskian
Hi,

I would like to know where I could change the default 'Handler Mappings' that Plesk use when I create a new domain/website with the Plesk Panel. Currently I have the 'PHP5-FastCGI…' and I wish to add a custom mappings for Railo 'Coldfusion alternative'. I don’t want to do it manually for each new site created by someone else. Plesk doesn't seem to keep the default IIS handler mapping. It use his own ! Do you know if I can modify this default behavior.

If not possible, other possibilities: Does Plesk currently call a script when I create a new domain/website ? Do you have the name of the executable called by the Plesk Panel to create the website in IIS …. I will make myself a wrapper to execute my script and add my own handler mappings ?

Thank you,

Plesk does not support handler mapping customizing. But you can add non default Plesk handler using external script.
To automate the process and create custom handler for Plesk domains you can use Plesk Event Manager.

So:
1. Create script which adds custom handler on a web site in IIS
2. Create handler in Plesk Event Manager for event 'Domain created'.

How to use Plesk Event Manager you can know in Plesk docs:
