  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

More subdomain failures

I'm using Plesk 10.4.4 on Ubuntu Lucid

I experienced an issue with subdomain's deactivating and being unactivatable after a back up. I followed this thread in a effort to correct it http://forum.parallels.com/printthread.php?t=210024&pp=40

This kind of worked: the subdomains are now activated. However this has resulted in a new problem: visiting any of them directly (e.g. http://test.buddhafield.com/ ) results in a Plesk default page.

There seems to be an issue with Apache, because if I follow the "Preview the website in your browser" icon (bottom of page under Website & Domains in the domain control panel), the site will appear.

Any leads welcome.
