• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Resolved Mounting in multiple disks to one domain

Hello!
I haven't found a thread about my issue that seems to solve my need.

To start off, i have set up a wordpress application in plesk with bedrock in the backend.
Everything is basically up and running and seems a lot faster compared to the old hosting but i have an issue with mounted storage volumes.

Symlinks within the same site directory works
I've tested with symlinks inside the plesk application and that works fine as long as it is inside of the installation
example /var/www/vhosts/<site>/uploads symlinks have a created symlink at /var/www/vhosts/<same_site>/httpdoc/html/web/wp/uploads

Mounted volumes outside of site directory into the the site directory gives URL rejected
The issue comes with the mounted volumes. the volumes are mounted at /mnt/<folder_name> and then linked into /var/www/vhosts/<same_site>/httpdoc/html/web/wp/<folder_name>

The issue with this, is that when i go out on the site and try to access the files, so <site_name>.com/<folder_name>/<file_name>.pdf ill get greeted with
"The requested URL was rejected. Please consult with your administrator."
Is there another way to solve this issue on the plesk? we would love to not need to add 140gb of files directly to the site.

Kind regards.

That's working as intended. A subscription is not supposed to break out of /var/www/vhosts/whatever, and a symlink requires that the link target path be accessible.
Use mount --bind instead.
