Question Move a subdomain subscription into another subscription

Hi, like the title says, I have 3 subscriptions from an old unilimited Plesk...

subdomain1.domain.tld
subdomain2.domain.tld
domain.tld

This 3 were created as separated subscriptions. Now, I have a new Dedicated Server but with a 30 domains Plesk license so I wanna know if there is any option to put the 2 subdomains into the main domain subscription without doing it manually.

Thanks :)

Certainly. Just move the subdomain1.domain.tld and subdomain2.domain.tld to the domain.tld subscription.

It's still added as a domain, but you can now rename it and add it back as a subdomain with the document root in the same folder. Afterwards, remove the renamed subdomain.

Hi, after some testing, it doesn't work as expected.

It moves the subscription inside another but it loses the root folder and all the files of the moved subscription are mixed with the existing ones, so it is a bit messy to do it like this.

I had to undo everything and move the subdomain manually.

Thanks anyway.

Can you please clarify the issue you've encountered?

The feature will move the document root of the moved website to a new folder in the target subscription folder.

Sorry for the delay in responding. On the original VPS I had 2 subscriptions xxx.tld and zzz.xxx.tld, both with their root httpdocs folders.

When, my colleague, ran the command to move zzz.xxx.tld into xxx.tld all the files got mixed up inside the domain httpdocs so he had to undo the action.

Finally he opted to move the subdomain manually into the subscription on the new dedicated server.

I don't know if it was a one-off, but it didn't work as expected. I no longer have the screenshot of the files all mixed up. Maybe it's because both subdomain and domain had a root folder called httpdocs...

Thanks for the help.
