  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

How shouild i go doing this?

Backupo and restore seems to work fine. But what would be the proper method to redirect incoming client that doesn't have dns updated yet? So that i don't end up with two site running?

Could you give more detail on how you would do this http foward?

thanks

I see,

i was thinking more of a dns redirection?

I used to redirect to new IP in the dnsmgmt but this didn't seemed to work with the server running plesk.

but i'll try your method thanks

well it won't work if the ip is cached in their ISPs name servers and name servers from there to the root. I thought your question was what to do for those a dns redirection didnt work. you should do both
