• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Moving From cPanel 9.9 to Plesk Reloaded - Does It Work?

I've had trouble finding a straightforward review as to whether or not moving from cPanel to Plesk really works, using the new migration tool.

I'm considering buying a new server that contains the Plesk panel, which is certainly not a problem, but if I cannot get my 45GB and 15+ websites from cPanel to Plesk nearly seamlessly, it might not be worth it.

So, can anyone give me a more in-depth analysis as to how well this works?

Does it allow me to maintain the /home/user/public_html hierarchy so that I don't need to change CGI/PHP scripts?

Are email accounts carried over (as well as Hivemail setup)?

What about mySQL databases?

It does not work, they have errors in their migration script that they need to fix
