  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Moving from Frame Forward to Physical Hosting

I have 2 sites, a .biz and a .com that I thought were going to be the same site so I set up the sites this way:

xxx.biz = Physical Hosting
xxx.com= Frame Forward to xxx.biz

Now it turns out I need them to be 2 seperate physical hosts. I have several E-Mail accounts on both of them and I do not want to loose the e-mail.

I know that if I "blow away" the xxx.com and start over it will work, but I will loose the e-mail and such.

Is there a way that I can move a Frame Forward account to Physical Hosting? I looked for this in the forum, and could not find it. If I missed it, I apoligize, and could you please post a link to it.

Thank you.

Just go to the domain in the control panel, click on 'Delete' (next to 'Setup'). When prompted to delete forwarding click yes. Now go into 'Setup' and set your domain up as physical hosting.

All Too Easy

Thank you. That works. The whole delete thingy was weird, but now makes sense.

I followed your directions and it worked exactly as described.

Cheers.
