• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

MS SQL 2005 Express connection issue

I just installed MS SQL 2005 Express on my Windows server and I am running Plesk 7.5.5.

When I go to Server > Databases > MS SQL and try to connect to MS SQL server I get the following error.

Unable to update database parameters: Try to establish connection failed: Login for user 'sa'. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks,
Dustin

I am trying to use the 'sa' user and it is the DB owner. I also checked Windows Firewall and it is turned off.

I can use MS SQL Server Management Studio Express to connect to the SQL server just fine, but Plesk still gives me the same error.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Dustin
