  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

MS SQL 2008 DB deleted but still exists in Plesk web panel

Lobaan

New Pleskian
Hello,

I deleted a database using SQL Management Studio. I was expecting the database to disappear from domain DB list, however the deleted DB is still listed on database list. Now if I try to delete it from web panel, it throws a message "Delete database user failed: Database 'test_new' does not exist. Make sure that the name is entered correctly.".

Can someone please help me deleting this DB from Plesk panel?

Thanks

This database is still visible in Plesk interface because there is record in Plesk database 'psa' about this database despite the fact that you have removed it by SQL Management Studio. For avoiding such issues you should delete databases with help of Plesk interface but not by third-party software.
It can be fixed by removing records about this database in Plesk database 'psa'. If you can't fix it by yourself - contact Support Team.

Thank you for your explanation IgorG.
Can you please point me to some article which explains how to access psa database in windows environment?

Thanks again for your replay.
Lo
