  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Multiple Domains Point to Same Site?

Hi, I could not figure out how to do this in Plesk on my IIS dedicated server.

I need to know how to point multiple domains (and subdomains) to the same website file directory. So basically these sites will be identical to one another and use the same files etc. The only difference will be that their domains (or subdomains) are different.

I'd also like to know if multiple IPs can point to the same website.

This is all as a backup defense mechanism to occasional DDoS attacks that might occur. If a DDoS attack occurs on one domain name, then I can tell people to access the site using a different domain name or subdomain name.

Any help would be great.

Joe.. did you ever figure this one out, or is this something Plesk cannot do?
