Multiple instances of MSSQL2012, MSSQL 2014

Hi

We run several shared hosting server.

Issue is that there are thousands of sites hosted on every server. MSSQL instance gets loaded, and though server is around 10% of its hardware capacity, time out errors start appearing on websites.

also plesk runs very slow.

we are thinking about adding SSD drive and having 3 instances of MSSQL2012, and 1 instance of MSSQL 2014, so that databases can be distributed amongst them, and server can give optimum performance.

pls guide us on how should we proceed, and how can we configure it in plesk?

You can add multiple database servers from plesk. You will need to go to add new database server and add them. Or we can help you with it, you can contact us at 24x7serversupport.com
