Issue My shared hosting cannot use my squid proxies from my plesk server

Clement

New Pleskian
I'm sorry if my title seems a bit confusing but it's quite hard to find a fitting title to my problem, considering I'm not still sure where the problem comes from.

I currently have 2 servers:

  1. OVH Cloud server with (Debian) Plesk on it + Squid Proxy and 40 ips.
  2. Shared hosting on a small Netherland provider.
My ultimate goal is to be able to curl from my shared hosting through my Squid proxies.

Squid works great and I am able to use the proxies from my computer, but when I am trying to curl from my shared hosting using the proxies, I always hit a "connection refused".

For a moment I thought my acl were wrongly configured but everything was fine there. Checking the squid access log, I realized my requests never arrived there.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the host may be blocking outgoing connections higher up the food chain. From your shared host, are you able to curl anything from the outside?
