MYSQL 1,6gb backup HELP!

Hello all!

Can anyone give me instructions about export mysql database?

I always export database, but its size always will be 520MB, don't know why.... It seems at phpmyadmin this
database size is 1,6 GB.

I have Ubuntu 14.04 linux server at vps.

What can setup it in /etc/mysql/my.cnf or at other config?

How can i backup it?

I didn't get any message, i saw that post, but its not helped for me. It started, and of it willl be 520MB, it stopped, and the download is complete, but i see 1,6 gb of all database size...

Anybody have a good idea?

No mate, it was the problem of the beginning, i had to setup max file limit fo 3GB, so its not the problem.
I didnt see settings for about export file size....

Hi Full,

if you have some spare time, have a look at "http://www.mysqldumper.net/" - pretty easy to use, lots of features, splits scheduled dumps automatically to defined sizes and even sends the dump - files to another FTP and/or the files can be eMailed to you.

Have you tried using mysqldump from SSH? Does it produce larger backups?
