• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

mysql causing headaches

I have Fedora Core 2, mysql 3.23.58 and php 4.3.10 on a new dedicated server.

Cannot get phpmyadmin to work outside plesk. Can view main.php but shows no databases or any other information....getting an missing parameter : array error when trying to do anything.

Can create databases and users but when we try to install say Gallery or Wordpress, we can (it appears) connect to database but seem to have no privileges to even create tables ...we get error messages even for Select queries. This happens even if we go back to SSH and grant all privileges via mysql at command line.

Is anyone else out there struggling with issues like this? Plesk seems to make it incredibly difficult to figure out how and what it is controlling. Thanks
