  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved MySQL memory usage alert ?

Gorgo126

New Pleskian
Hi,

I'm new with server management and Plesk...

I have a warning from some days for my MySQL memory, orange and now red...

I use 25.8% of my memory (503Mb of 1.91Gb) and for plesk is a "problem" (see screenshot)

Someone can tell me why ?
The server dont like go above 25% ? why ?

Thanks a lot !

Olivier.

The RAM usage is a normal usage. The problem is rather that you are barely above the minimum sytem requirements for RAM which are at least 1.5 GB (512 MB + 1 GB swap). For that reason, Health Monitor easily passes the 25% threshold for MySQL RAM usage.

I suggest to edit the threshold in the XML file that you can download from the health monitor page and upload a higher value instead, so that you won't see the alarm any longer.
