• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

new here so please be gentle with me!

I'm a Plesk user, had my site hosted for a while now. I'm trying to add some database functions, I want to allow public webusers (general public) to subscribe to a newletter. So I'd like to create a user say "Anon" and give them just INSERT access and nothing else on MySQL. So these users can post their email add to my database.

I cant get logged in to any database with Admin access to enable me to Revoke and grant the correct privs.

I have no command line access to the machine so if I need that, I'd need some help achieving this... Newbie I know

any comments appreciated

PS I have read the domain and users guides on SWSoft site but still not enough detail.
