  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question MySQL root password

PlatinumPanther

New Pleskian
Hello everyone,I'm new here :)

I have a question,I'm trying to set up percona template to work with zabbix because i need to monitor my databases, and i would like to know were the mysql root password is stored,i've found some methods how to login to mysql on plesk with the encrypted password but it does't work for the percona template.it says the password is wrong

Can you help me please?
I've set this up a few times by now but this is the first time i'm setting it up on a server with plesk on it
Thank you

By design, there is no root mysql account in Plesk. Account admin is used instead of root.
