• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Need help rebuilding qmail for remote-auth patch

It would appear that m ISP is blocking outgoing traffic on port 25. As well, i'm informed by my ISP that i will need to send outgoing mail's through their mail servers using authenticated connection on port 465.

The problem i'm having, is i created the smtproutes file for qmail, and added the correct information in the following format:

Code:
:smtp.[I]MYISP[/I].com:465 [I]USER PASS[/I]

but this does not work. I'm thinking the qmail that is isntalled does not have the qmail-remote-auth patch.

I need to know how to rebuild qmail with this patch.

any howto links, or other information would be most appreciated.

Hello,

Have you read the Knowledge Base article

Parallels Plesk Panel uses patched Qmail. How do I compile Qmail with my own patches?

Denis.
